New to Lexington? Join the Newcomers Club!

Sometimes moving into a new city can be a stressful time, especially if you are moving to a place where you don’t know a single person except your Realtor. When I personally have a client moving in, I suggest great local spots for them to visit based on their interest.  I also strive to visit or point them in the direction of these places in between our house hunting trips. It is also important for me to help new residents establish a connection with others in town who share the same interest or work in the same industry. Sometimes the small things make the biggest difference.

I also guide new residents to the Newcomers Club of Lexington. The Newcomers Club is a great place for those who are new to the area or have only been here a short time. The club is made up of many newcomers to the area (currently over 200 members). They meet on a regular basis to dine, chat, and participate in many other activities including holiday dances/parties, dining out clubs, tours and outings, fitness clubs and many more.

Anyone can join the club, regardless of age and you will find members in all age ranges and from various backgrounds. Membership dues are $25.00 per year and that includes a monthly newsletter with the calendar of activities for the month.
