Moving to Midway Kentucky?

Midway is such a sweet little place! This picturesque town has a population of only 2,000 people but is ideally located less than 20 minutes from both Lexington and Frankfort Kentucky. Many visitors fall in love with Midway’s charming historic downtown surrounded by classic Kentucky rolling hills and horse farms. If you are looking for a historic home, or want to live the rural life (with all the conveniences close by), consider moving to Midway Ky.

As you can see by the photo, Main Street in Midway has a railway running alongside cute shops and restaurants. Two noteworthy restaurants on Main Street are Heirloom Restaurant which offers fine dining and Darlin’ Jean’s  Apple Cobbler Café which features home cooking. Holly Hill Inn is another acclaimed restaurant in Midway, located just a few minutes from Main Street.

Besides restaurants, Midway is known for Three Chimneys Farm, a famous Thoroughbred horse farm that has been home to big names in horse racing including Seattle Slew and Big Brown. Even if you do not follow horse racing, Three Chimneys is a breathtakingly beautiful farm to have in your neighborhood.
