Lexington's Victorian Square at Dusk!

If you know me or just read my blog, you know I love photography!! You can always find me out and about in Lexington shooting pictures. No joke, just ask my friends about the numerous times I have asked them to stop in their tracks just so I could snap a picture of the Lexington cityscape. Here is a picture I snapped Sunday evening, November 13th, looking towards the Victorian Square shopping district in downtown Lexington!

Victorian Square has graced downtown Lexington, Kentucky as the premier shopping district since the 1880s. The large block is made of 16 buildings featuring restaurants, hotels, the opera house and many specialty shops. I remember being a kid in Lexington and riding along in the car with my parents and looking over at the building when the building was undergoing  a massive renovation. That was in 1985 and today, the place feels as modern as ever while still maintaining the original decorative metal ceilings, ironwork and exterior balconies. So much so that it is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings in America.

Hope you enjoy the picture!! Get out and explore our great city!

Lexington KY is always #1 in my book! Whether you want to buy a downtown condo, a custom walkout ranch on a golf course, or a horse farm in the country, I can help find the perfect home for you – as well as help you sell your home. In addition to Lexington Real Estate, I specialize in the nearby towns of Paris, Midway, Georgetown, and Versailles.
