Lexington's Famous Parkette Restaurant featured on Food Network

Tonight Lexington is once again in the National Spotlight. Lexington’s famous landmark, Parkette Drive In will be featured on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Host of the show Guy Fieri recently visited the Lexington 1950’s dinner and enjoyed a great dinner featuring Parkette’s famous Poor Boy sandwich and fried chicken, which is fried totally southern style in the real deal lard. The show airs tonight, Monday, September 20 at 10:00 p.m. on the Food Network.

Parkette Drive In Sign in Lexington KY in 2010

Parkette is a fun spot and change up from the chain establishments. Whether you are hungry for lunch, dinner or just want to visit for a milkshake, you have to put Parkette on your list. My clients and I often visit the Lexington hot spot to experience a true locally owned Lexington eatery. And if you go on the weekend, you’ll see the parking lot full of vintage restored cars. Parkette offers great food in a great atmosphere and a flashback in time.
