Kim Soper Catches Up With World Famous Turtleman!

As I spent the last few weeks like most of you, holiday shopping, I spotted a local - now national celebrity at Lexington's Fayette Mall. Meet Ernie Brown AKA Turtleman. In case you are not familiar with Brown, he has his very own show on Animal Planet and has made appearances on Jay Leno and Anderson Cooper.  Brown is a hero among the animal world as he makes it his job to save wild animals when they get into places where they shouldn't be. What makes him so different than others is that he uses his bare hands to capture the animal and safety returns them to their natural habitat.

Turtleman's show on the Animal Planet is called Call of the Wildman and while I must admit I had never seen his show when I met him, he was so kind and his daughter was absolutely adorable that I am now a fan of his show myself. Check it out while you have some down time this holiday season!
