Hidden Best Spot in Carribean, Private Island - Prince William & Kate Middleton Should Visit & You too!

So I totally found **the best spot** - in my opinion- and the most hidden in the Caribbean. Since Prince William & Kate Middleton have yet to officially go on a honeymoon, this is the perfect destination for them to honeymoon because of the privacy it offers. So if you want to vacation like royals, figure out a way to experience Bannister Island! I was just there a few weeks ago and I couldn’t believe how great this place is.

Bannister Island is located 9 miles Southeast of Belize City, Belize. And it truly is private. This 3 acre island can only be access by private boats. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back ASAP!

I went snorkeling out in the waters near Belize, which itself is rockin’ unbelievable. Crystal clear waters and amazing instructors made the experience incredible. Afterwards we were taken by boat to this little escape or a simply paradise as I call it. Bannister Island is just so beautiful and peaceful. As a totally secluded beach in the middle of the crystal clear blue waters. There is so much to do there - from beach volleyball, pedal boating, kayaking or dancing to reggae music. Or you can simply do what I did; just enjoy the tropical atmosphere under a coconut tree soaking up the background music. I must admit, I did spend a lot of time in the water. Besides me, there was just 2 other people in the water. I felt like I owned this place. I only wish *smile!*

As a Realtor, I was just curious about these types of private islands in the world. I found listings for ***over 50 private Caribbean islands for sale** and I am sure there are many more. I was able to uncover that Bannister Island was recently on the market for a cool $1,950,000 and it SOLD!! Not sure what the final selling price was as that has not been released yet but I know the new owner will fall in love with their private Caribbean island.

Nevertheless, I hope someday I have the opportunity to go back and visit. And in the meantime, I will compose my letter to Santa - all I want for Christmas is peace on Earth and an island! Too cool! A girl can always dream right? Have a great summer weekend!
