He's Dinned with Queen Elizabeth & Ronald Reagan, Now it's Breakfast with Kim Soper!

Nothing beats starting the day by having breakfast with a legend! And that is just what I did. I stopped by the track kitchen at historic Keeneland race track and enjoyed some good ole fashion biscuits and gravy with Ted Bassett III.  Mr. Bassett has dinned with the likes of Queen Elizabeth and former President Ronald Reagan, so I felt like Ms. Kentucky as we chatted away about life, politics, real estate and horse racing!

Mr. Bassett truly is a living legend, no joke! Let's see; he is former Chairman of the Board at Keeneland and now serves as trustee emeritus. He is the former president of the Breeders' Cup, past president of the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of America and trustee of the National Museum or Racing. I also personally love that he is a trustee at my favorite school, Transylvania University. He is also a great American as he served as a U.S. Marine who was awarded with a Purple Heart.

Mr. Bassett and I laughed and cut-up for hours!! My face is still sore from all the laugh lines! Isn't it great when you meet someone who makes you laugh nonstop?  Mr. Bassett definitely is an inspiration to me and those whom are graced with his presence!
