Goodbye Kentucky Summer, Hello Fall in the Bluegrass State!

Happy Labor Day weekend!!

This is a very bittersweet blog post for me. I love summer like many of my readers do and I’m going to miss the dog days of summer in a lot of ways. Relaxing by the pools (or for me, showing homes with pools), spending time at the many local lakes in Kentucky such as Cumberland and Laurel, taking walks in the neighborhood when it is still daylight outside till 9 p.m., and simply all the great bbq’s and summertime cookouts where friends and family members gather and reminisce.

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing summer. Just 7 months until summer rolls back around. With that, let’s get ready for fall in the Bluegrass State. Football, basketball, horse racing at historic Keeneland, hay rides, visits to the apple orchards and trips to the corn mazes. It is going to be an exciting adventure this year. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I serve you up some of the best fall offerings around in the Lexington area!

Until then, enjoy the rest of this holiday weekend and keep smiling!

Lexington KY is always #1 in my book! Whether you want to buy a downtown condo, a custom walkout ranch on a golf course, or a horse farm in the country, I can help find the perfect home for you – as well as help you sell your home. In addition to Lexington Real Estate, I specialize in the nearby towns of Paris, Midway, Georgetown, and Versailles.
