In December 2012 the moving and junk removal company with a catchy name arrived: College Hunks Hauling Junk. With both the University of Kentucky and Transylvania University in town, I imagine they have no trouble finding energetic employees.

College Hunks specializes in junk removal, donation pickup services, and home or office moving services. Not only can the business help you with local moves (and some limited long distance ones) but College Hunks can even do the packing for you. They will also remove unwanted items such as appliances, mattresses, electronics, and even junk cars.

If you need to store your household goods until your new home is ready, College Hunks has portable storage space available for rent. These containers also come in handy if you are renovating your home.

Once you are settled in your new home - or if you are doing some serious cleaning - the company can do light demolition work. They can tear down an old fence, remove a dilapidated garden shed, or dismantle a rotted deck.
