Old Friends, the retirement home for Thoroughbred horses kicked off their 5th annual Hats Off To The Horses fundraiser, which runs from December until May. Old Friends is partnering with Maggie Mae hat designs to auction off one hat per month until the 2014 Kentucky Derby. All proceeds benefit Old Friends, which is located on Paynes Depot Road in Georgetown. The non-profit farm cares for over 100 stallions and mares that are retired from racing. Tours of the horse farm are available at 11am daily in the winter, by reservation only.
