If you are thinking of buying a home near Harrodsburg Road, consider the area near Lane Allen Road, just one mile inside New Circle Road. This location is just minutes from downtown and also convenient to St. Joseph, UK, and Central Baptist hospitals. The University of Kentucky college campus is also easily accessible among multiple route options. In fact, the nearby corridors of Lane Allen, Tates Creek, Nicholasville Road, and the ring road of New Circle making getting just about anywhere a breeze. The old Turfland Mall property at the Lane Allen intersection has several stores including a Staples and Home Depot. The Ohio-based restaurant chain opened its first Lexington location three years ago and now has about 24 stores. Their lunch and dinner menus include ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and turkey. City BBQ also offers catering and specializes in turkey and ham for the holidays.
